Entry (2) 23-8-04

Ok I said I am going to make two entries. This will be the 2nd and more interesting one. Of course it’s going to be a very sensitive post so I advice those people that are insensitive to immediately scroll down to the first post.

Ok let’s start. I am going to list down a series of questions. Think about them. For Christians think about how to answer them. I would like to state that the questions are ask are what I know and the doubts I have. For non-Christians, you can just browse through the questions and see the thoughts in my head.

I appeal to everyone to give their comments in the comments box. Please type as much as possible. Thank You. Let’s start.

Question 1 : God
(it all leads to one to the other, a ‘yes’ to an answer will lead to the next part. A ‘no’ figure out yourself if it leads to the next part)
A) The bible and Christians believe that god is kind hearted, helpful and loving. Correct?
B) But it is stated in the bible that all those that do not believe in him will suffer in the end and be sent to hell. Doesn’t that contradict the first point?
C) (Your answer in B will most probably lead to this) Ok so we must trust and put faith in god in order to prosper and not suffer, as all those that do not believe in him will suffer. Doesn’t that make god indirectly a tyrant and a dictator? Like Hitler or Stalin? Killing people who do not follow them.
D) Didn’t god give people freewill? Then why would he want men to follow him in the end? And killing those who didn’t when freewill was given?

Question 2 : The beginning (from the bible)

A) The bible states that the first sin was committed when Adam/Eve ate the fruit when they were not told not to eat. However, wasn’t it the snake that committed the first sin in tempting them?
B) (Sidetrack) But wait, you might argue that thoughts or tempting someone is not a sin. So you will be stating that thinking to challenge god or killing someone is not a sin?
C) Back to the first sin, but then it was the devil that tempted the snake so that makes the devil committing the first sin? Correct?
D) Here comes the part which is kinda of stupid but I must ask, Since god is almighty he would know the past/present/future. Wouldn’t he have predicted that the devil would do such a thing and why didn’t he stop the devil?
E) Why did god let his most ‘beautiful’ angel betray him and sin when he has all the power to stop? ** Indirectly, didn’t god make the first sin of allowing sin??
F) Back to Adam/Eve eating the apple, If god knew the future why would want to put a rule which he knows that men will betray and therefore sin. Why make such a rule? I mean you make a rule for it to be broken because he knows it will be broken?
G) Lastly on this topic, Do you really believe that Adam/Eve became us? Through generations of reproduction etc?

If you agreed with my points of A-C, you already agreed with me that the bible is wrong in the beginning on saying who committed the first sin

Question 3 : Help from god

A) It is often said that god can help everyone. Let me give you a scenario, there are two football teams wanting to win in a match. Both trust in god. There’s sure to be a loser right? Explain.
B) You probably answer to A) saying that god will help the stronger of the two believers, but isn’t that unfairness to the other team? God suppose to help his people and not let them take the suffering of losing?
C) What is your opinion on this: Success = % of ability + % of faith in god ?
D) If you said only faith in god, don’t be stupid you will not succeed. If you said both, you are saying there isn’t one person that has succeeded without faith in god?
E) What method of communication do you use with god? What method of communication does god use to talk to you?

Question 4 : Personal Opinion

A) Do you agree with me that god would not be happy, ok hate, if he see blind followers? People that only believe in him by word of mouth or just following blindly.
B) Don’t you feel weird with people around with claiming to be Christians when they obviously don’t behave as one?
C) Do you think those people that believe in god but don’t praise him will still go to heaven? I mean it’s easy for you to say repent in the end. Then isn’t it stupid as everyone would just do that?

Ok got to go eat dinner. Listed down four questions. Please give your comments and feedback. If you have nothing constructive to write, just view only please. And yes i am not crazy, i am perfectly sane to write this
